Our Parish · Safeguarding

Every child, safe.

Creating a safe, nurturing environment for our children is a top priority — in partnership with the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and the State of California.

Our Ongoing Commitment

Education & Training

Through the Safeguard the Children Program we offer continuous support, training, and resources to prevent child sexual abuse and promote safety at church, school, home, and beyond.

Fingerprinting

All clergy, staff, and volunteers in supervisory roles with children or youth undergo fingerprinting. Monthly schedules and locations are available at the Parish Office.

Victims Assistance

For reporting sexual misconduct and obtaining support for victims/survivors and their families, contact the Victims Assistance Ministry: (800) 355-2545.

Empowering Our Children

Weekly “Did You Know?”

Every parish bulletin carries the bilingual DID YOU KNOW? child-safety article. Your awareness and engagement make a real difference. Read the series →

Annual Safety Program

The Empowering God’s Children and Young People K–12 program is mandatory across religious education, Catholic schools, and youth activities — covering Safe & Unsafe Touching, Boundaries & Bullying, and Internet & Technology Safety on a three-year cycle, with lesson plans and take-home exercises for parents and educators.
