Your parish needs you!

Whether you’re new to the area or have been a part of our community for years, registering with your local parish is a meaningful step. You’ll find registration details in our Sunday bulletin or feel free to approach our priest after Mass. Generally, registering is a simple process at the parish center office.

Why Register?

Be an Active Part of Our Community: By registering, you express your commitment to being an integral part of our Catholic faith community. Parish registration impacts many aspects, from the allocation of priests to our parish, to the planning of Masses and programs.

Benefits of Registering:

  • Personalized Communication: Registering allows our pastor and staff to know you better and stay in touch through mailings.
  • Contribution Records: Receive envelopes for your regular offerings, aiding in year-end tax statements. If you prefer not to use envelopes, just let us know.
  • Pastoral Care: Enjoy pastoral services including baptisms, anointing of the sick, and funerals.
  • Marriage Preparation: Registration is a prerequisite for celebrating a Catholic wedding in our parish.

Expectations for Parish Members:

As Catholics, we embrace certain practices and support our community:

  • Worship: Participate in Sunday Mass and Holy Days of Obligation.
  • Sacraments: Annually receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Holy Communion during the Easter season.
  • Lenten Observance: Engage in fasting and abstinence during Lent.
  • Support: Contribute to the Church through financial gifts or active service.

For reference, see the “Precepts of the Church,” Catechism of the Catholic Church # 2242-43.

Registration for Young Adults:

Children registered with their parents become independent members at 18. We encourage young adults to register separately, continuing their commitment to faith as responsible Catholic adults.

Note: At least one family member (usually a parent) must be Catholic for family registration.
